F5's OpenStack Ecosystem and our Red Hat Partnership

F5 first certified our LBaaS plugin on the Redhat platform with Redhat OpenStack Platform v6.  Since that time, we have made significant progress in customer adoption of our joint OpenStack integration in both Enterprise and SP markets.  See details about our solution here:  

As the first Open Source software company to pass the 1 billion dollar threshold, it is a natural fit for Redhat to offer a compelling distribution of the OpenStack platform.  We are looking at future methods to deepen our integration and are working actively to simplify deployment of F5 LBaaS onto the OpenStack platform with a Redhat Director LBaaS integration onto RHOSPv8.  

During the OpenStack conference next week in Austin, we will be demonstrating our current integration. The demo features a BIGSwitch SDN and Redhat OSPv7 environment utilizing our LBaaS v1 plugin.  We invite you to stop by for a demo.
