zone runner entry cache

Hey guys,

One our external(clustered - sync group ) facing I noticed that when doing a lookup on a name that was removed, it has since been change to another name in zone runner but still references the old name both when doing a lookup externally and when I do a lookup on the name on the external facing GTM.

It seems as though it was cached. How would I clear the cache so it resolves to the correct name externally? can restart named will that clear the cache and when doing so restarting named should have no impact is that correct ?
