XML Payload interrogation failing when payload has encoding us-ascii

Hello ,

 

We are using XML_CONTENT_BASED_ROUTING to determine whether a request should go thorough a data group for which condition is defined in a iRule.

 

When XML request payload contains encoding="UTF-8" the iRule parsing is fine and request will be validated on condition defined in iRule and values matching in a data group and processing as expected. Eg: It hits Pool A

 

But when the same XML request payload contains encoding="us-ascii" the request is not parsing through iRule nor data group, it hits Pool B rather than Pool A. Below hits pool B: which should not be the case.

 

Any suggestions?
