Would it be possible to create a loadbalancer setup based on application url instead of the general url?

Gazzu, not entirely clear of your requirements. But, the virtual server entry point is and IP:Port combination, rather than URL specifically. So this may be mapped to a general URL. If you wanted to load balance to a different pool, or pool member, based on Application URI then you would use an IRule on this VIP, or a Local Traffic Policy.
