Why i need reactivate my licence after upgrade

Hello Guys,   Not with all my upgrade but when i upgrade a device, the F5 stop working and need reactivate his licence.   But not all time.. Why ?   Thanks for your response,   Anthony  ...

Hi,

 

You normally need to re-activate your license before an upgrade, not after. Under some circumstances, the BIG-IP ask for license reactivation after an upgrade. For example, if you have the root partition full, the bigip may ask to reactivate the license.
