What is "slot' referred in vCMP.

Dear All,   Good day,   I am new to the F5 world and i want to understand what does a "slot" mean as referred in Manual Chapter: Introduction to the vCMP System

Its exactly what it means "a long, narrow aperture or slit in a machine for something to be inserted." Reference : Google Search.

 

As Viprion is based on chassis and blade technology, slot is a place where the blade goes in :)
