What is mcpd: Function determine platform?

mcpd: Function determine platform? its a log from BIG-IP -debug. What it is and how it could be fixed by configuring correctly examining default and other parameters?

    Which logfile showed this message? Debug logs What is the context of this message? Application attempt. MCPD is responsible for managing traffic when available it cannot manage traffic. Its observed to be misconfigured in my case. What is the issue/problem that you are trying to solve? Re-config, possibly as a fix

    debug logs? which debug logs? provide the exact path / file name and log message please

     

    it would really be helpful to explain this a bit better. currently it remains very vague in my opinion.
