What does exactly SSL bridging means? I went thru link https://devcentral.f5.com/questions/ssl-bridging-vs-ssl-offloading but little confused.

Hi,
If I try to illustrate connections it will looks like that :
Client <-- 1 --> VS_F5 <-- 2 --> Server
SSL Bridging means that :
- Connections between the Client (Browser) and the VS (F5) are encrypted via SSL (using SSL Client Profile)
- Connections between the VS (F5) and the server (node) are encrypted via SSL also (using SSL Server Profile)
So "SSL Bridging terminates SSL at the F5 and then re-encrypts traffic on the server side by initiating a new SSL connection between the F5 and the Server."
Hope it clarifies
regards
