Hi,
I have a customer that has procured a Big IP APM 2000 appliance to replace their Firepass deployment.
They have a couple of small services which they would like possibly consolidate to this device using LTM (such as TMG), but not enough to justify significant cost of an ADD-LTM license.
I have not been able to find any definitive information on the limitations of an unlicensed LTM deployment. All I know for certain is that load balancing is not possible. Are there limitations in terms of concurrent connections, iRule functionality, VS count, monitors, profiles, etc. that I should be aware of?
Does F5 forbid the use of LTM in this fashion?

i do not think there is limitation in term of number of configuration objects. it should be on features/functionalities. anyway, i think you had better check with f5 account team.
