Webtop problem

I have assigned a webtop to a group of users in their access policy. The webtop contains a link to another internal website which uses a mixture of http and https. When clicking on the link they get Page cannot be displayed.

I presume there is a problem with the combination of secure and non-secure items on the page as the webtop works without any problem for pure http and https pages. I can't see any traffic blocked on the firewall or in the Big-IP logs. Can anyone advise regarding accessing websites with elements of http and https through webtops?

  • Try configure the internal link as a portal access and it should work.

I have tried it with the internal link as the webtop or as a portal. I believe the BigIP acts as a proxy either way.

Access works fine when using a network access tunnel.

As a portal, the internal page displays correctly but there is a link on the page that will not work. The page is partially displayed when the link is changed to http. So I guessing that the mixture of http and https are causing a problem- when the link is https some elements of the page are not secure so it does not like it, but I can't see anything in the logs.
