Aug 07, 2006Webct VISTA issue - newbie
Hello,
I am a new F5 user and I am having a problem with aysemtric routes between my client (10.171.xxx.xxx) and the virtual server on the F5. Our VISTA managed nodes have two NICs, one behind the F5 and one connected to an internal vlan for database access. We are using solaris 9 and I am looking for some examples on how to limit the routing for the internal vlan to be just the class C address and not the entire class A address.
The routing table looks like this:
Routing Table: IPv4
Destination Gateway Flags Ref Use Interface
-------------------- -------------------- ----- ----- ------ ---------
192.168.51.0 192.168.51.41 U 1 12 bge0
10.0.0.0 10.170.239.28 U 1 3 bge1
224.0.0.0 192.168.51.41 U 1 0 bge0
default 192.168.51.13 UG 1 10
127.0.0.1 127.0.0.1 UH 1 0 lo0
The F5 is on the 192.168.51.x address space. I would like to limit the 10.0.0.0 routing to just 10.171.xxx.0/24 .
Any ideas or links on how to do this?
Thanks in advance,
Jim
