Nimbostratusway to list pools?
I am trying to find a way for an irule (9.x LTM) to query for a list of all pools on the system, but so far have not found a way to do so. Is this possible?

when you updated the pool_member_status_list.class you need to a 'b load' so it can be loaded up into memory.

A full "b load" isn't needed. You can get away with toggling one of the attributes on the class. Here's a CodeShare entry I wrote in Perl that does the trick.

If I remember correctly you can also force a reload by toggling the "Access Mode" attribute in the GUI, CLI, or via iControl.
Now, the last time I tested this was in v.9 so I'm not sure if this "feature" was removed but it's worth a try to avoid the overhead of a full "b load".
