vmware workstation 8 and two ve instances

I know my config isn't officially supported but I wanted to discuss it anyway, besides it isn't always feasible or easy to use ESX on a laptop. if I load a single be ltm instance, everything is fine. When I load two ve instances, one of them always becomes corrupt. It has trouble loading, mcp doesn't respond and sometimes the eval license becomes invalid. Anyone else seen this? thank you,

    How are you setting them up? Have you changed the default mgmt IP of the first before starting the other?

    Yes. I configure each just like I am doing a real install. I just used the setup wizard for.these. I don't even use the 192.168.145.x network for management. I use a Nat interface for my external vlan so it can hit the internet and a Host interface for the HA network. I will dig into some more but its been quite frustrating. Also, I don't use ovf converter tool. I just double click on the file and let workstation perform its import process.
