VMware lab edition - VMware esxi

HI all, I have downloaded from F5 the VE edition 11.3 for Vmware esxi The image is locked in with 100G, so im unable to make the H/D space smaller. Has anyone come accross this and no a runaround for...

That's the default for v11 (not that it actually consumes that much space, but it certainly reserves it for growth).

 

My v11.4 VE which also has 100GB reserved actually takes up 13GB of HDD Space.

 

If you are looking for a way to shrink it anyway, I would suggest looking up the v10 to v11 VE Upgrade process. It walks you through how to change the Disk Size, RAM Allocation, and several other things. You can just take from it what you are needing.
