Virtual Server going to sleep?

Hi, Many times I cannot access a webapp using the Virtual Server.   When pinging the VS IP address and the get "Request timed out." for a while   And after a while, the VS starts responding to...

when I ping from my station it does not answer to ping immediately, as seen in the above ping screenshot, but when pinging the VS from BIGIP cli, it answers immediately.

 

You also have to consider the path between the source PC and F5.

 

It is not always that you can blame F5 if the application is down.

 

Have you tried taking a capture at F5 during the issue ? Do you even see that ICMP or your application traffic is reaching the F5 ?
