Mar 14, 2010Virtual object statistics & rrdtool
Does the LTM (v10.0.1) use RRDTool to record statistics for individual virtual objects? If so, where are the raw data files? /var/rrdtool has the global data files, has anyone written custom queries to get specific virtual and time range data?

no, the stats collected are global. If you want per-virtual stats, you'll need to do this off box with a tool like Cacti. There is a template for F5 in the wiki:

Thanks elah, I found the MIBs/OIDs I needed for some custom polling, I might play around with Cacti. - mazek_59373

I wish Enterprise Manager at some day could do that kind of stuff.

I thought in the recent versions on the 3000/4000 platform you could do stats collection on specific objects. Is this not the case?
