Are you actually not seeing any client-traffic on the backend node? When testing it is probably helpful to only have 1 node enabled to ensure you know where all traffic will go.

 

If the backend node is able to route its traffic directly to the client without going through the F5 you will have to enable sNAT on the VIP to ensure that return-traffic is going via the F5.
