Viprion chassis resource allocation issues
Chassis - 11.5.1 HF5
Guest - 11.4.0 HF 8 or Engg HF5
We have a Viprion chassis, with one blade and 4 vCMP guest configured .We experienced resource issues and the vCMP guest failed to the HA pair. The root cause found was - memory shortage and processing power.
Question - What will be the best way to avoid any memory shortage or resource limitations?
The solution we were thinking was to add a new blade, please advice if there is better solution.

what do you have for a chassis/blade model? With 2100 Blades for example, you can only provision max 4vCMP per blade. If you add a new blade you could deploy those vCMP guests (all or only the ones with perf issue) to more CPUs (for ex. 2 vCMP guests on one blade). Memory is provisioned in proportion with the number of CPU. Practically, you would double the CPU+Memory size for those guests.
On the other side.. do you have provisionned AVR on those guests? If yes, is it necessary (memory + CPU consuming feature)

to add to amolari's information, here is a solution article and manual chapter that explain that in more detail:
