VIPRION and vCMP guest software upgrade

Hi All,

 

I have to upgrade the F5 Viprion and vCMP guest software upgrade from version 11.6.0 to 12.1.2 with latest Hotfix.

 

Do anyone has done software upgrade from /to same version ? Kindly help me with you experience on it.

 

Any precaution ( except saving UCS file on remote device) need to considered ?

 

Any impact on production traffic due to upgrade ?

    Six months ago I have upgraded vCMP Host & vCMP guest but till no don't see any issue except 

    hostagentd
    daemons issue. Sometimes it will stopped working & you will face issue while opening statics graph. In that case its require to restart hostagentd daemons process.

    I will recommend you upgrade vCMP host 1st then guest. All the best
