VIP Migration - a few questions

We're about to start a migration project so I am trying to obtain a list of all pertaining DNS entries for each IP that we have on our LTM to the GTM. Also the ability to pass an IP address over to GTM and see what WIP that specific IP belongs to. I'm trying to understand the iControl/ruby but I need some assistance in getting me on my two feet.

    I wrote in TCL for tmsh which dumps a tree-style listing of my gtm config. This allows me to quickly search for entities by wideip or ip address, just with the shell pager "less".

     

    I know you were talking about using iControl and Ruby, and my script is pretty crude, but I can send it to you if you want.
