Aug 19, 2009Verify NTP
Hi,
Is there a way to verify that an F5 Big-IP device is syncronising with the defined NTP server?
Thanks,
goulin

Hi Aaron,
Thanks for the post. We have Big-IP GTMs, and I can't seem to run that command, even though it is a supported version and hardware. We only have access to the GTMs via the web interface, and I can only bring up the console via the web interface. The command doesn't seem to be available via that console (I get the error BIGpipe parsing error: 012e0008:3: The requested command (ntpq) is invalid). Do I need to SSH or physically console onto the device to run that command?
Thanks,

yeah, the ntpq command is not valid in the bigpipe shell. Run it from ssh or serial console access. - hbassi_35639
