H All I have two 5200v BIG-IP hardware appliances and both BIG-IP have 2 Vcmp guests. i want to have Active/Active HA and i would like to know before implementing which one is the best practice either to create HA between the Vcmp guests or between the BIG-IP hardware appliances i.e the host ?

DSC configuration for vCMP systems On a vCMP® system, the devices in a device group are virtual devices, known as vCMP guests. You configure device trust, config sync, failover, and mirroring to occur between equivalent vCMP guests in separate chassis.

Hello! You should create the HA between the guests since they are the one who loadbalance the virtual servers. The hosts here are just horse power (aka CPU and RAM).
