vCMP Management IP Exhaustion

When a vCMP configuration has the management network configured in Bridged mode and IPs are allocated for all slots for each guest, IP addresses can be consumed very quickly. We have reached a point where we do not have enough management IPs available to bring up the next guest. Can we not simply add a management route on the host and allocate a new subnet for new guests? If not, is there a workaround other than readdressing all of the existing guests with a brand new subnet?
