NimbostratusvCMP deployment on Virtual Appliance running ver 11.6.0 code
I have a B2250 blade in 2 viprion 2400 chassis. I want to deploy vCMP making the appliance the host and 2 Guest instances with HA between the Guests on the Appliances.In my effort to simulate this,I downloaded the 11.6.0 code to install the virtual appliance but I have not been successful in deploying vCMP on the virtual appliances. Is there anyway to make this work, Thanks in advance.

Have you followed the viprion guide on askf5? See vcmp and viprion configuration guide
You would build the hostbas normal and then licence for vcmp. You then deploy guests via the Host GUI. No need to download the virtual appliance software for this.

Nathan, Thanks for your prompt response. I have reviewed the suggested documentation ,however I will not be able to use the existing Viprion 2400 chassis as this is in production. This is why I am using the virtual appliance. That's why is was thinking that the vCMP feature is hardware centric.-I could be wrong but I need to deploy this in a lab environment. Does anyone have any ideas ?

You can't deploy vcmp on a Virtual Appliance I'm afraid.
