VCMP and Vlan Configuration

Hello together,

we are running a VCMP configuration with >4 VCMP Guests and there are >200 Vlans for all VIPs needed.

At the moment you need to configure every vlan four times (VCMP Host 1, VCMP Host 2, VCMP Guest 1, VCMP Guest 2).

Is there a solution to configure the vlan once or something like an "all trunk" option on a switch?

Thanks, Sven

  • Not really. You need to create VLAN on vCMP host(1 & 2) only & same will visible to vCMP guest.

    Procedure

    1. Create VLAN on vCMP host.
    2. Go to vCMP Host --> Guest List --> Select vCMP guest "xxxxx" & click
    3. Inside select VLAN list in Available << "Selected" submit
    4. VLAN will replicated to vCMP guest after 10-15min.
    5. Login vCMP guest & check.

Let us know if any question.
