variable with the big-ip unit-id?

hi,

 

i am looking for a variable reflecting the big-ip unit-id

 

in the irule global commands.

 

this would allow to select a pool with prioritized local

 

members, when the redundant big-ip´s are located in different

 

locations.

    thanks. but using the physical addresses will not

     

    be possible with mac-masquerading.

     

    the approach with an external class based of an

     

    individual file looks promising.

     

    getting a global variable would make life much

     

    easier. sounds like feature request ...

    we got a cr for this:

     

    CR69605 was filed for the RFE to create a variable for the Unit ID.
