Is it possible to have a client send a single file to an LTM using a VIP and then have the F5 replicate the single file to multiple pool members?

Check out this DevCentral article HTTP Request Cloning via iRules, Part 1 which describes a process to do what you're looking for, assuming you're talking about HTTP requests.
