Using the ASM in a test environment?
I have Big IP with different nodes set up. ASM is licensed for the production node but not the test environment node, so I can't test using different policies with the ASM. Is there a way to set up the current license of ASM for that test node so I can test changing some of the rules in a safe environment?

Your sales rep/engineer can provide 45 day evaluation licenses, or you could look into a Virtual Edition. Not sure if that would fit your situation...

Leonardo, I don't see a virtual edition for the ASM (at least not listed here https://www.f5.com/trial/). I'll look into the evaluation license though. Thanks!

Just go to downloads.f5.com and download the desired version of VE you want. From there, your partner SE/rep can give you a VE license eval key that will allow you to provision any modules you want.
are you talking about a single BIG-IP box, where you have ASM only licensed for a single node?
or do you mean with node a BIG-I P box? and you have two? you could always also setup the test virtual server on the production enviroment if your network setup allows that with a different profile then the production ASM profile. of course it breaks the prod / test setup somewhat.
