Hey DevCentral,
I am able to push base code upgrades in BIG-IQ 5.0, but it appears I am unable to install a fresh copy of the base code and then the hotfix on top of it, as if you were doing it ...
Do you have both the base image and the hotfix image on the BIG-IQ? I've done this type of upgrade with 5.0 a number of times without incident. What sort of errors are you getting?

jleach_241920This is more of a how-to kind of question...I can't find any information on it on AskF5. But I did figure it out.
It seems that the process doesn't work exactly as it would if you were doing it in BIG-IP, where normally you'd install the base image, then the hotfix separately.
In BIG-IQ, it looks like you do a Manageed Device Install of the hotfix, and it deletes the volume that was in the selected volume previously, installs the base image, then the hotfix.
