USE OF IP FORWARD VIP

Hi All,

 

 

I was reading about F5 as i am new in this.I have confusiong regarding IP Forward VIP. What is use of it. if it dont change IP of destination. and dont do load balance.

 

In Which scenario it will be most used. what is reason to develop this concept.

    As explained here: http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/solutions/public/7000/500/sol7595.html this type of VS is generally used for routing purposes. An F5 is a deny by default device and this type of VS reverses that allows it to act like a router.
