URL Rewrite

Currently using Windows ARR to rewrite urls but want to move to F5 LTM. Situation is

 

https://portal.domain.com should forward to https://portal.domain.com:8888 on the page there is then a link to the same server which also needs to work (i.e. https://portal.domain.com/owa should not rewrite the port number). Anybody got any advice on how I can achieve this?

    not sure what ARR is, but what you are talking about is basically what the F5 does natively. You'll have a virtual listening on port 443 and then an attached pool that points to servers on port 8888. Not much else you need to do, other than if you want SSL termination, HTTP stuff (compression, oneconnect, persistence and the like).
