Upgrading active-standby systems

Hi All

 

I am hoping someone will be able to help, I have a active standby running 11.6 HF4. I am attempting to upgrade to HF6 but I am having problem with getting the image onto one of the units.

 

Even after the import it says 100% but this is not in the list of available images.

 

Has anyone come across this issue or know how to troubleshoot this problem.

    Hi Craig,

    finally the imported files (both the base image and the hotfix will be required) for an update will show up in the /shared/images/. With VIPRION installations it will be required to have the installation images locally on all blades (handled automatically by the csyncd).

    Did you try to copy the files directly to this directory i.e. via SCP.

    Now you can also cross check via 
    md5sum
    on command line if the images are fine.
