Upgrade from 11.3 to 11.4.1 -Source Template Has Changed
- Aug 06, 2014
Hi,
This is expected behavior. After any upgrade of BIG-IP, all the deployed iApps will indicate that the source template has changed. Nathan is correct that if you've disabled strictness and made changes, reconfiguring the deployment will overwrite those changes.
thanks

- Neeraj_Jags_152May 13, 2015CirrusHi , then how do we preserve our customized changes did long ago in past but don't remember, if while doing this one is not aware what customization has been done.on iApp,default, this is huge challenge :(
- mikeshimkus_111May 14, 2015Historic F5 AccountTo prevent your changes from being overwritten, you can go to the reconfigure tab and select "None - Do not use a template" from the template drop-down. To see the differences, you could deploy another instance of the same iApp with the same choices. If you log into tmsh and change to the iApp folder, then run "list", you can run a diff on the output for both iApps to see the differences.
