Upgrade F5 VE LAB licenses to 200MB VE ?

You can relicense the existing VM no issues but it will require:

 

  1. Contacting Sales
  2. Contacting Support to reset the VM serial to the new key

I've done it... it's a slight pain but totally doable. Just make sure any modules in the lab environment you're "testing" are not in the application path. The updated license may not have all of the modules (if you're not purchasing them) and would cause some update heartaches...
