There are quite a few significant changes between versions, and quite a few items to consider before performing the upgrade.
A good place to start would be the version release notes. However, just to give you an idea of what to consider:
- Are there iRules in place? These may need to be updated to work in 11.4.1, and may prevent a successful configuration import after upgrade.
- What Modules are you using and do they still exist in 11.4.1? ACA is no longer supported, but functionality was rolled into APM and no longer requires the extensive iRules.
- Are you in an Active-Standby configuration? There have been siginificant changes to device pairs.
- Do you have any custom scripts? Backup, logs, etc, these may no longer work.
- Have you reviewed the bigpipe to tmsh command mappings? bigpipe has been deprecated in 11.x. https://devcentral.f5.com/wiki/tmsh.bigpipemappings.ashx
11.4.1 Release notes: http://support.f5.com/kb/en-us/products/big-ip_ltm/releasenotes/product/relnote-ltm-11-4-1.htmlrn_install_checklist
Hope that helps.

Thanks Michael for the reply.
1) I have the iRule defined, how to make them work in 11.4.1 version too?
2) Only LTM Module is active.
3) Yes, They are in active - standby pair, Do i need to create the device group or after up-gradation it will be automatically created?
4) cron tab for root 1-59/30 * * * * /usr/bin/diskmonitor file is only i can see.
Please suggest. Thanks
1) is difficult to answer without looking at all your irules as it depends on the irule. most things will keep working, something involving for example http class in irules wont. in principle the f5 will warn you about this upto a level before actually upgrading.
3) in principle the upgrade from 10 to 11 creates the correct HA config on itself, the device group and traffic groups are created for you.
4) is default, nothing to worry about there.
x) one of my favorites, make sure you are using the volumes scheme, not still partitions. once support.f5.com works again search for it.
as Michael mentions read the release notes. and if you have an F5 partner you might want to involve them to do the upgrade with / for you. they have probably done many of these and can help out.
