Updating iRule attached to LDAP configuration

I have a rule selected for an LDAP configuration. When I update this rule in the iRules section the changes don't take effect until I:

 

1)Uncheck the box in Local Traffic>>Authentication Profiles>>my_profile_name>>Configuration>>Rule

 

2) Click update

 

3) Check the box and select my rule again

 

4) Click update

 

Is this expected behaviour?
