Universal persistence - match-across-virtuals

Hi all, I'm testing this feature in 12.1.2 but so far not getting the results I expect. I've got an iRule doing pool selection and universal persistence applied to 2 different Virtual Servers that are identical except Destination IP. They also both have OneConnect enabled. The new persistence profile is a child of the default universal profile with the said feature enabled and the iRule listed too.

When I test and check the persist records I find that they are using a different pool member. Has anyone come across this before and are there any caveats to getting this working that I may have missed?
