UCS archive returns an error.

Hi All, I tried getting UCS archive from one of the boxes I manage but get the error below.

Operation Status Saving active configuration... mv: cannot create regular file `/var/local/ucs/2-6-17.ucs': No space left on device /var/local/ucs/2-6-17.ucs: Error renaming package

The box has just above 30GB of free storage, what could be the cause of this issue and a possible solution?.

Thanks.

  • Hi,

But you have separate Filesystems for different mount points (sorry if mixing terminology I am not expert in LVS). So you can have free space on your active volume but not in /var

    Try this command:

    df -Pkh

And look for Filesystem ending with ._var

I am pretty sure there is not plenty free space left.
