True client ip in APM behind ASM issue
Hi
(first time i am asking a question here :) )
we have a virt for owa access on our ASM (version 13.1.1.5) with auto-map enabled his pool member is another virt on an APM (13.1.1.5 also two diffrent devices)
the issue is that in the access report of the APM we see the client ip as the ASM (becuse of the auto map)
we tried the XFF in the HTTP profile of the ASM virt but we cant find a way to use this data on the APM access report
what is the way to use the XFF from the ASM in the APM access report? or there is a diffrent way to see the real ip address of the client?
Thanks

You can set up remote logging for this info to your log sever. See:
- K13080: Configuring the BIG-IP system to log to a remote syslog server (10.x - 14.x)
- Set up a request logging profile: Configuring Request Logging.
