Troubleshooting Monitor issue

I am looking relevant information for troubleshooting the monitor issue. For eg monitor status is down( RED). I want to check whether the end server or pool members are able send back the reply what we mentioned in receive string. IMO we can check this in LB by using curl commands. As an eg i am pasting send and rec string of one of the monitors which we are using recv "Http Receiver Servlet active!" send "GET /empbs/upload HTTP/1.0\r\n\r\n" So after running curl command what i want to check if the server is sending the recv string exactly what we are using or not { recv "Http Receiver Servlet active!" } Also it would be helpful for me if you can provide me all curl commands which are useful for investigating such issues.
