Sep 15, 2015'tmsh load sys config' vs 'tmsh save sys config'
Hi All,
I can't find good articles regarding the difference between "tmsh load sys config" and "tmsh save sys config". Hoe some could elaborate the difference and use of the 2 commands.Thank you...

Sep 15, 2015ok, it might have been wiser to explain all that to start with.
i just tried what you described and for me it works. i edited the /config/bigip_base.conf file for the IP shown on ipconfig -a. do remember you might need to edit it twice if you use the IP also as name:
net self /Common/10.3.26.8 { <-- **here**
address 10.3.26.8/24 <-- **here**
allow-service none
traffic-group /Common/traffic-group-local-only
vlan /Common/ha
}
after a tmsh load sys config the ip address shown on ipconfig -a was different. it wasn't the one i changed it to but one of the other IPs i have on that interface. keep that in mind also, if you have multiple IPs on an interface / vlan ifconfig -a will just show one.
