'tmsh load sys config' vs 'tmsh save sys config'

Hi All,   I can't find good articles regarding the difference between "tmsh load sys config" and "tmsh save sys config". Hoe some could elaborate the difference and use of the 2 commands.Thank you...

Thanks boneyard and nathan! We had an issue with our bigip device wherein we change the self ip address and using vi editor and conducted 'tmsh load sys config". Upon checking, the self ip reflected on webui but not on the "ifconfig -a" command.
