TCP Reset when VIP is Active/Enabled
Hi,
I have a strange issue on LTM vCMP Guest 11.5.3 HF2 A VIP is enabled and active (Green) however inbound packets are reset by the F5.
A TCPDump of the connection using the F5 wireshark plugin shows that the RST was caused due to the VIP being disabled.
RST cause: [1add66c:1592] VIP disabled
Length: 21
0000 000. = Version: 0 (0x00)
.... ...0 = Peer: 0
Value: 0x000001add66c
Line: 1592
Cause: VIP disabled
Could this be a bug as the VIP is clearly active.
Thanks MP

I have worked with 11.5.3 HF2 on hardware BigIP F5 and didn't run into any such issues. Did you check the /var/log/ltm to see if you can identify any reason for the VIP being seen as "Disabled" ? Any other users active in the system during the time the VIP was disabled ?
