Does anyone have an RFE open for this that I can add my name to? If not, I'll go ahead and create one.

Hi Paul,
I'm not sure an RFE exists. I'd talked with a few people within F5 but not made an official request. If you do have an RFE created, let me know and I'll ask my customers to add their requests to it.
Thanks,

In version 10.1 ASM highlights the matched string within the full request, I believe this significantly helps to solve this use case.
