hi, recently our users encountered frequent network error when using an in-house developed application. We are using F5 LB and Apache 2.4 on Linux. Reviewing the LB log showed connection failure message. There is no error in Apache log. However, the Linux tcpdump showed that there is a lot of sync_recvd traffic. May I know if anyone has encountered similar problem? Is it a F5 problem or Linux or Apache problem? Thanks.

There isn't enough information here to go by, but you can try at least two things to see if there is any alleviation of the symptom:
- Enable HTTP "keep-alive" on the Apache, and/or
- Lower the frequency of health monitor checking.
Can you provide exact error message on the client side? What is the error message you see on big-ip logs?
