SVG files not being compressed
Thanks, plus sign was the issue. We had to escape it and that solved the issue.

Hi! Apologies for bringing up the topic again, but could you kindly publish the specific example of proper escaping which works 100%, please? I tried various things, none worked, i.e. image/svg\x2Bxml, image/, image/svg

Hi Jie!
Unfortunately it did not work. Following I found not working as well: image/svg+xml ^image/.* or, even image/
Thanks a lot for your help!

Is your svg file under the configured "Minimum Content Length" in size?
- George_Efimoff_Mar 14, 2017
Nimbostratus
Minimum is default one, 1K whereas the web server returns "Content-Length: 8947".

Actually it needs to be either just a pattern:
image/svg+xmlor a regex:
image\/svg\+xml.
Do you have caching configured as well?

Jie, thanks again for your time and efforts! Yes, caching is enabled:
tmsh show ltm profile ramcache all | grep -A 15 svg
URI : ....svgSource Slot/TMM 1/1 Owner Slot/TMM 1/1 Rank 1

Nacreous
Escaping the "+" by using
as described by Jie (+1) solved the issue for us. Putting the string into double qoutes (as recommended in the user accepted answer) did actually not help. (tested in TMOS v12.1.3) Thanks, Stephanimage/svg\+xml
