Suppress Rule name "header" from Log entries

Hi folks

I am writing a rule to create a "proxy log" of all HTTP requests that go through our BIGIP units.

I can out put a standard HTTP Common log entry quite happily using a rule, however the log output includes a header of the date tmm tmm and the rule name. Is there any way anyone knows of that i could suppress this rule header?

Many thanks in advance
  • If not, you could log to a specific facility and then remove that information with perl before shipping off to your log server.

Sorry, much of that header is added by the syslog daemon. The "rule: " part is created when the log command is executed and is currently not configurable.
