stream necessay?

I want to use STREAM::expression to replace data in HTTP request

 

is STREAM profile needed applied in virtual server?

 

is stream:enable needed to set following stream::expression?

dev
devops
iRules

    No need for any strings in the profile but one must be applied to use Stream in an iRule. I'd agree that seems to be your only option.

    if I use stream profile in an vip and in http request with stream::expression,I still need to disable stream in http response because even I use stream::expression in http_request,it will also be applied in http response if I don't disable it explicitly ,right?
