Hi all!

 

 

Coud you explain the difference between total connections and total requests in bigip ltm statistics?

 

I think that the number should be the same.

    For a TCP VIP with an HTTP profile, I think connections indicates the number of TCP connections clients have established with the VIP and requests are the number of HTTP requests. As clients can reuse the same TCP connection to make multiple HTTP requests, the two counts wouldn't necessarily be the same.
