SSRS 2012 Load Balance and Monitor

let me share my inputs as I dont know what SSRS servers really do.

Do you want the node to be monitored ? Since you specified it... The default monitor of a node is ICMP. Yea you can change it. But is there a need ?

Your traffic will be load balanced to the pool. You can work on the pool monitor instead of the node monitor unless there's a specific reason.

BIGIP has EAV monitors as you should know. Did you refer this article. If you're still facing some issue, let us know where your facing trouble. Even if in setting this up :)
